sorry, but the composition is too cluttery and i get the feeling that this is more of a snapshot than something that had alot of thought go into it before it was done.

The composition is correct. If anything its off by 20 pixels from the top or bottom, but that is intentional. It creates horizontal aligment and a juxtaposition between the elipse and the eliptical spray pattern. The dominant shape and tone of the plug object leads your eye to the blood spatter via the slightly less anchoring drain element. The less consuming subject then becomes dominant during the process, achieving compositional and narrative realisation.

Interesting piece, the blood on white makes it stand out so much. A little creepy. I hope it isnt your blood though.
